AWARE’s summer food drive is back again to collect food and some basic hygiene necessities for low-income households in the community who access the Evansville Care Closet. Requested items: mac & cheese, hamburger helper, olive, soups (chunky and regular), pudding, canned fruit (in its own juice), baking soda, onion powder, flour, sugar, garlic, canned pasta, Italian seasoning, pasta sauce, unsweetened cereal, crackers, snack chips (low-sugar), shampoo, men’s deodorant, razors, liquid laundry soap, bleach, Kleenex, and diapers (sizes 5&6). Bring your donations back to St. John’s by July 7.
